Key Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed internet and voice services over copper infrastructure
• Perform troubleshooting maintenance and repair of broadband lines and equipment
• Run terminate and test copper cabling (inside and outside the home)
• Install network interface devices (NIDs) modems and related equipment
• Diagnose service issues using testing tools and resolve connectivity problems
• Educate customers on service usage and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate job documentation and service records
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

• Experience in telecommunications broadband or copper line installation preferred
• Strong understanding of copper wiring DSL or voice services (a plus not required)
• Ability to work in confined spaces at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Must have own vehicle and tools required to perform installations
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
