Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patient samples
Provide accurate diagnoses based on laboratory results
Collaborate with medical staff on patient care strategies
Review and interpret pathology reports
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
Stay updated on advancements in pathology and medical practices
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Pathology preferred
1-3 years of clinical experience in pathology
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Beeper call shifts available
Team Structure: Additional Pathologists
Must be board-certified
