As a Locum Neurosurgeon you will be integral in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to the well-being of our patients allowing you to work on complex surgical cases and collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and care
Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Participate in patient consultations and provide clear explanations of procedures
Stay current with advancements in neurosurgery techniques and practices
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification in Neurosurgery
Valid medical license to practice in Colorado
Experience in a clinical setting preferably in neurosurgery
Strong surgical skills and a comprehensive understanding of neurological conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Level I Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour call 7a-7a
Cases: Surgical traumas (cranial and spine) and surgical spine fractures
Support Staff: RN MA
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
