As a Locum CRNA you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive anesthesia services collaborating closely with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is crucial in supporting our anesthesiology department and enhancing the overall patient care experience.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans
Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
Evaluate patients medical histories to determine appropriate anesthesia methods
Respond to emergencies and manage complications during anesthesia
Document anesthesia care and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
Active RN license and certification as a CRNA
Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesia care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and techniques
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: 8-hour shifts specific dates
Cases: Outpatient procedures
Must be board-certified
