Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed typically 2-1 or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room so their primary focus is on that room and on teaching. Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time 4 x 10/week 6 months Patients per day: Depends 1-9/daily Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal) Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho Trauma Vascular Neuro (No Heart) EMR: EPIC preferred **All providers will be required to work NORA** Skills required: Intubation Central Line Arterial line Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks.
