Job Summary

  • 2-Year Max Term Fulltime role based in Dubbo (393km West of Sydney)
  • Hours 8.30am-4.30pm Monday - Friday
  • Deliver generalist case work in the Homelessness MH and AOD Space

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Worker to deliver high-quality person-centred support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness alongside mental health and/or alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges.

Working within our Community Services team you will play a key role in creating safe inclusive and trusted environments where people feel supported and empowered. This is a dynamic generalist role where you will work alongside individuals to understand their unique circumstances and goals providing holistic case management practical support advocacy and referrals. You will collaborate with internal and external services to coordinate care and support people to achieve stability wellbeing and greater independence.

About You:
You are a values-driven professional who is passionate about supporting people experiencing complex and intersecting challenges. You bring experience in case management across homelessness mental health and/or AOD settings with a strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.

You approach your work with empathy respect and sound judgement and are confident navigating complex situations. You are a collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and youre committed to supporting people to achieve meaningful sustainable outcomes.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications in Community Services Social Work Counselling or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum)
  • Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
  • Experience in social or community work counselling and group facilitation
