Job Title: Intern (w/m/d) Chemical R&D

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an intern to join our Chemical R&D team in Schaffhausen

Position Overview - Tasks & Responsibilities:

As our Intern Chemical R&D team you will play a key role in supporting our efforts to bring chemistry for new APIs to patients who need it most. Fully embedded in the global R&D team you will contribute to new route design and process research to support first GLP and GMP batch deliveries on the critical path by

• Looking for modern chemistry for small APIs or peptide APIs

• Evaluating modern chemistry in our lab

• Summarizing and presenting results within the local R&D team

Qualifications - Education and Experience:

• A completed bachelors or ongoing masters degree in life sciences (chemistry pharmaceutical sciences medicine)

Qualifications - Skills:

• A high level of enthusiasm and a keen interest in the pharmaceutical industry

• Experience with organic chemistry and/or with peptide chemistry

• Very good German and English skills other languages are a plus

• Able to understand scientific data and to translate these into a practical narrative

• Team spirit creativity proactivity and a strong organizational talent
