As a well-established firm serving southern Alberta North & Company LLP offers a broad range of legal services with a strong and growing litigation practice. Our litigation team handles a diverse range of matters including General Law Contractual Disputes Estates Judgement Enforcement Insurance Claims Liability Negligence Employment and Personal Injury.

Position Overview:
This role offers immediate file carriage with support from senior Lawyers. The successful candidate will manage a varied litigation practice with regular exposure to chambers applications questionings and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and participate in mediations and pre-trial conferences
- Represent clients in chambers applications and court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
- Juris doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
- 2 years with strong litigation exposure.
- Strong research drafting and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
