PURPOSE
The Program CoordinatorI-II will coordinate all aspects of theBringing BaffinBackTMinitiative with an overarching focus on leadingimplementation ofwatershedrestoration and management activitiesoutlined inaWatershed Protection Plan (WPP).They willcoordinateactivities ofa teamconsisting of members from multiple entities (inside and outside of TAMU-CC)whowork with communitiesand stakeholders in the Baffin Bay watershed to address water quality issues and infrastructure needs.They will also regularly engage communities and stakeholders and will lead program developmentactivities such asgrant acquisition management and implementation.

Coordinate regular team meetings
Coordinate and track implementation of watershed restoration activities undertaken by team members
Functional Area2:ProgramPlanningDevelopmentandImplementation
Percent Effort:20%
Assistswith programmatic goal setting
Build andmaintainpartnerships with landowners agencies nonprofits and local governments
Contribute to grant writing and program development
Leads planninganddevelopment of new programmatic initiativesand develops grant applications toacquirefunding for them
Coordinatetimelines deliverables and reporting for grant-funded restoration projects
Operates a university vehicle to access field sites meet with partners and support program delivery across multiple locations

Develop and coordinate stakeholder meetings and support collaborative solution-oriented discussions
Deliver outreach programs workshops and educational materials to support implementation
QUALIFICATIONS
Program Coordinator I
Bachelors of science in environmental science or related field
Two(2) years of related experience
Additional education may be considered as substitution for the minimum requirement:
Masters degree in environmental science or related field.
Program Coordinator II
Bachelors of science in environmental science or related field
Four (4) years of related experience
Additional education may be considered as substitution for the minimum requirement:
Masters degree in environmental science or related field and two (2) years of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with common social media platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities / projects and work independently
Strong attention to detail
Strong public speaking skills
Knowledge of environmental water quality and best-management practices
Willingness to travel locally and work occasional evenings / weekends
Validdriverslicense
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience inprogramor project management (environmental or related field)
Grant writing and grant-funded project experience
Ability to creatively distill and communicate technical water quality and coastal resilience information to laypeople (graphically verbally or written)
SALARY: Dependent upon education/experience.
Program Coordinator I: $3657.34- $4583.34 Monthly ($43888- $55000 Annual Approximately)
Program Coordinator II: $4583.34- $5416.17 Monthly ($55000- $64994 Annual Approximately)
Note: Employment may be impacted by the Presidential proclamation issued on September 19 2025 and the moratorium issued by Texas Governor Abbott on January 27 2026.
