Your Role as a CNA:
- Assist the Dietitian in identifying residents dietary needs and implementing dietary programs.
- Communicate residents nutritional and therapeutic dietary needs with families staff and healthcare professionals.
- Complete and maintain dietary assessments care plans and progress notes in accordance with regulations.
- Promote a calm supportive and caring environment for residents and staff.
- Follow infection control safety sanitation andHIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in in-service programs educational opportunities and team meetings.
- Support the care team and perform other duties as assigned.
- Promote dignity comfort and well-being.
What Were Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a major in food or nutrition.
- CurrentRegistered Dietetic Technician (DTR) credential.
- One year of long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassion professionalism and a positive attitude when working with residents and families.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful or emotionally challenging situations.
- Physical ability to perform duties that require standing walking bending and assisting residents as needed.
- Commitment to resident dignity safety and well-being.
