Cabinet Assembly Specialist (Distribution Center) Hilo, Hawaii

The expected pay range for a Cabinet Assembly Specialist in Hilo is $19.25 - $22.10 per hour.

HPM Building Supply is seeking to hire a full-time Cabinet Assembly Specialist at our Distribution Center in Hilo Hawaii. The Cabinet Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling highquality kitchen cabinets vanities and specialty storage units that meet HPMs quality safety and customer expectations. This role transforms raw components and flatpack materials into finished cabinetry through precise assembly attention to detail and adherence to shop drawings. The Cabinet Assembly Specialist supports HPMs commitment to craftsmanship efficiency and a great customer experience.

The typical schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a cabinet shop furniture manufacturing woodworking or finish carpentry preferred but not required
• Experience with CNC equipment or specialized assembly clamps is preferred
• Solid understanding of wood grain material types (plywood MDF solid wood thermofoil) and hardware components is a plus
• Knowledge of basic cabinet construction methods and wood assembly techniques
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to the 1/16th of an inch
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
