Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety maintain imaging equipment adhere to radiation safety standards and support radiologists with accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on imaging equipment
Administer contrast injections as prescribed by physicians
Maintain accurate documentation including logs manuals and charge records
Identify and report equipment malfunctions in compliance with regulatory standards
Perform quality assurance and safety testing procedures
Adhere to radiation safety standards including ALARA principles
Manage patient imaging data ensuring proper storage and retrieval for interpretation
Order receive and verify radiopharmaceutical doses in accordance with protocols
Verify dose activity levels prior to administration
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiology practices
Ability to assess and respond to patient needs throughout procedures
Understanding of radiation safety quality control and assurance standards
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Certifications & Licenses
New York State License (L.R.T)
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
Current BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
NYS DOH Radiography License with injection certification
