Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support a high-performing cardiac catheterization lab in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves assisting with a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to clinical needs
Perform imaging and support fluoroscopic procedures
Document procedures using Epic electronic medical records
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Procedures Include:
Coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
Cardiac arrhythmia treatments
Permanent pacemaker placements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
ARRT certification (required)
Fluoroscopy Permit (must be applied for at time of submission)
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular procedures
