Job Summary

Were looking for someone who possesses a solid BI engineering background familiar with maintaining large data sets building the datasets needed for analyzing information identifying key business insights and working with stakeholders in generating the right metrics to define and measure this role you will be a technical expert with significant scope and impact. You will work with Sales Operation Leaders Product Managers and other business users to understand the business requirements and implement reporting solutions. The individual must have the ability to earn trust and communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units in a global organization. Candidates should possess a keen sense of ownership collaboration and desire to learn. Above all the candidate should be passionate about bringing large datasets together to answer business questions and drive change.
Key job responsibilities
Work directly with the models/data. Work with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them
Manage complex manual revenue routing processes to ensure revenue is reported accurately
Write high quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables (ex. Redshift MySQL). Build data models leveraging Python.
Work cross-functionally with billing to ensure revenue is flowing to the right customer accounts
Partner with business owners tech and central teams to integrate machine-learning generative AI and automation into scaling our programs and processes
Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions
Drive towards simple scalable solutions to difficult problems
Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results both written and verbally
Work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape analytical deliverables
Think strategically about business product and technical challenges with the ability to work cross-organizationally

About Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
- 10 years of professional or military experience
- 5 years of SQL experience
- 5 years of SQL ETL or Oracle experience
- 5 years of processing large multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 5 years of performing statistical analysis experience
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Masters degree in statistics data science or an equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval data science machine learning and data mining
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- 1 years of developing automated reporting experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
