Job Description

This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury MA.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and maintain compliance security related documentation (example: System Security Plans Cybersecurity Reports etc.)

• Define cybersecurity requirements design and architecture artifacts strategy plans and policies.

• Perform vulnerability assessments defining negotiating and executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events.

• Collaborate with program and engineering disciplines and ensuring cybersecurity solution alternatives.

• Execute ACAS (Tenable) scans across classified and unclassified environments; analyze findings and validated remediation in accordance with NIST RMF requirements.

• Develop and maintain NISTaligned vulnerability management processes including ACAS scans findings reporting and POA&M integration.

• Define security controls of networking devices operating systems and hardware and software components.

• Support travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field

• US government issued security clearance is required after day 1. U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in cybersecurity compliance and risk management framework (RMF).

• Experience with ACAS (Tenable).

• Experience with security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NSA NIST DISA (STIGs) and USCYBERCOM.

• Experience with network and system security administration including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for MS Windows Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Cisco Systems.

• Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST 800-37.

• Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.2 and DoDI 5200.39.

• Security related Network (e.g. Cisco) and Operating System certification or training.

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
