Precision Door Service is seeking a reliable and skilled Garage Door Installer to join our growing this role you will be responsible for the installation repair and maintenance of residential and commercial garage doors and related systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
As a Door Installer you will be an integral part of the team. Your duties will include the installation of residential garage doors garage door openers and related components. You will interact with customers daily providing them with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble garage doors tracks springs openers and related hardware
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure all installations meet company standards and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding services timelines and recommendations
- Maintain tools equipment and company vehicles in good working condition
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in garage door installation construction or mechanical work preferred
- Strong understanding of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in various physical conditions
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with commercial and residential door systems
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience)

Work Environment:
This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role requires physical activity including lifting climbing and standing for extended periods.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
