Job Purpose
This role focuses on building and maintaining strong value-driven customer relationships while driving sustainable sales growth. Youll identify new business opportunities deliver tailored IT solutions and ensure exceptional customer experience from start to finish.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing customer base through strong relationship-building
- Own the full customer lifecycle and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Handle queries complaints and escalations professionally
- Drive new business through proactive cold calling
- Identify and close sales opportunities to meet targets
- Execute upselling and cross-selling strategies
- Develop and manage structured sales pipelines
- Prepare proposals pricing and quotations accurately
- Support customers with Statements of Work (SOW) and delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams vendors and brand partners
- Stay updated with IT products certifications and industry trends
Minimum Requirements
Experience:- 5 years in customer sales/account management
- 3 years in a channel sales environment
- Proven IT sales experience (hardware software enterprise security)
- Strong track record of meeting sales targets
- Experience in ICT distribution (advantageous)
- Matric (essential)
- ICT-related qualification (advantageous)
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and MS Office
- Strong communication negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask prioritise and work independently
