The Role

The Vice President AMC Programs and Oversight oversees the design implementation and overall effectiveness of asset management compliance programs including conflicts of interest and activities aligned with global regulatory this dynamic role you will provide expert guidance on adviser filings including Form ADV global regulatory exams and inquiries and the interpretation of new rules and regulatory requirements. You continuously improve compliance programs and evaluate emerging regulatory matters and their impact on asset management activities.

In your role you will develop strong working relationships with Fidelity senior management and compliance colleagues to enable continuous investment product and capability growth while modernizing AMC and Fidelity compliance programs to align with industry and regulatory change.

The Expertise and skills you bring

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • 15 years of financial services experience with a strong preference for a background in compliance legal and/or regulatory experience.

  • Proven knowledge of financial services industry preferably including alternative investments digital assets and exchange traded products.

  • Deep understanding of asset management laws and regulations applicable to investment companies investment advisers and commodities as well as relevant industry practices related to alternative investments or digital assets.

  • Experience and technical expertise across asset management functions including the investment process derivatives and other instrument types disclosure and reporting practices trading and allocation fund treasury and accounting transfer agent distribution and custodial oversight.

  • Experience designing operating and enhancing compliance programs including compliance policies and procedures control frameworks risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Outstanding people and leadership skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives while contributing individually.

  • Excellent communication presentation and relationship management skills

  • Ability to connect with senior leaders and decision makers and influence desired outcomes

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with sound judgement and attention to detail

  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear practical guidance for a broad range of stakeholders.

Asset Management Compliance (AMC) works closely with Fidelitys investment teams across all asset classes to ensure compliance with global regulations investor requirements and corporate policies in the interest of promoting customer trust and confidence in Fidelity. AMC is committed to driving Fidelity forward through business partnership and stewardship platform modernization and talent development. AMC associates are enthusiastic about delivering sound guidance and creative solutions in a timely and adaptable manner supporting Asset Management in delivering the best customer experience in the financial services industry.

The base salary range for this position is $00 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
