Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Travel Assignment
Location: High Point NC 27262
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week travel assignment in High Point North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing and mobility
- Perform wound care dressing changes and other clinical procedures as required
- Accurately document patient conditions treatments and progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians RNs and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and overall health management
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols safety standards and healthcare regulations
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and concerns
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or Compact State License (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented patient-focused environment
