Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week travel assignment in High Point North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing and mobility
• Perform wound care dressing changes and other clinical procedures as required
• Accurately document patient conditions treatments and progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians RNs and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and overall health management
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols safety standards and healthcare regulations
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and concerns

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or Compact State License (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented patient-focused environment
