As a Security Officer Armed Motorized Patrol Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional in a retail location where you will perform vehicle and foot patrols stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify suspicious behavior and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas for unusual activity assist with access control and loss prevention support and help to address policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Carry and maintain authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines site procedures and applicable laws while exercising sound judgment during security-related responses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
