Job Title: CT Technologist Weekend Assignment
Location: New York NY 10003
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 32 hours/week (16-hour shifts)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team on a weekend-only schedule. This role is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Utilize appropriate technical factors (kV mA) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Conduct daily equipment quality control and calibration checks prior to patient use
- Administer contrast injections as prescribed following safety protocols
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures logs and patient records
- Monitor and report equipment functionality issues in compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform quality assurance and safety testing procedures
- Adhere to radiation safety standards including ALARA principles
- Manage and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation
- Coordinate and verify radiopharmaceutical orders and deliveries per established guidelines
- Verify dosage activity levels prior to administration
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiology practices
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care throughout all stages of imaging
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance standards
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Certifications & Licensure
- Active New York State License (L.R.T)
- ARRT Certification (Radiography and CT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
- NYS DOH Radiography license with injection certification
