POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative communications coordinator to join our team. The communications coordinator will support the communications team with day-to-day marketing and internal communications activities. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in marketing coordination content development digital communications and event support within a construction management environment. The communications coordinator will assist with campaign execution content updates research and administrative support while gaining exposure to real-world marketing and communications practices.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Assist with the creating editing and formatting of marketing and communications materials including presentations brochures newsletters and internal documents.
  • Support content development for digital platforms including website updates and social media posts.
  • Help maintain brand and style consistency across marketing materials.
  • Assist with event and conference preparation including logistics materials and marketing giveaways.
  • Support CRM and marketing database updates as directed.
  • Assist with basic website maintenance including content updates and forms.
  • Help organize and manage digital assets such as photos graphics and videos.
  • Conduct research to support marketing initiatives proposals or internal projects.
  • Provide administrative support including updating marketing calendars scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Complete other projects and tasks assigned to support the communications team.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Use of social media dashboards/management tools and social/web analytics software is a plus.
  • Strong research writing and copyediting skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • excellent organization and time management skills including ability to juggle multiple tasks and respond rapidly to new events and competing priorities.
  • Detail oriented self-motivated and willing to learn and take direction in a collaborative team environment.
  • Working knowledge in Apple software applications such as Pages and Keynote as well as all MS Office applications particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication abilities (oral and written).
  • Exceptional organization and fastidious attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field is desired.
  • Background in communications media relations and/or knowledge management preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as digital project manager in a corporate setting or an agency.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job it is required to sit for long periods of time look at a computer monitor for extended periods use of hands and fingers and reach with their hands and arms.
  • Client site pending work environments can involve some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
  • Client site pending walking within a 400-acre campus.
