Position Overview:
This role is focused on daily order volume and coordinates the efficient release of orders to satisfy customer demand and provides for effective order throughput. Collaborates with supply chain transportation and export functions to ensure that orders are waved with a methodology that results in on time shipping of customer and distribution orders. Able to apply Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) releasing processes and advanced materials management concepts to ensure continual flow of the pick pack and ship processes inside the distribution center.

Essential Functions:
- Monitors and assesses Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) process to determine efficiency of workflow
- Translate projected order forecasts incoming volume and work scopes into daily outbound production plan with a time-phased output driven by targeted fulfillment dates
- Interface with engine planning team export sales team US sales team and interplants to best schedule the workflow within distribution center
- Monitors analyzes and reports availability fill rates for the distribution center operation
- Identifies inefficiencies in workflow between replenishment picking put away packing and shipping; further making configuration changes to waving software to improve operational material flow.
- Monitors order queue and ensures balance between picking packing and shipping
- Assists distribution group leads with assigning shipment priorities and monitoring each wave
- Ensures daily waving is executed timely with work being available for all shifts
- Provide evening and weekend rotational on call distribution support remotely for shipment waving and WMS/OTM applications.

Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management Business or Engineering Technology.
- 3-5 years materials management and/or supply chain experience
- Strong Cross Functional/Team Leadership and Communication Skills.
- Planning with ERP software as well as PC skills in Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Good Organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Technical and logical capability to solve problems
- Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight required
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Operation or Supply Chain preferred
- Experience in marine spare parts distribution or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodology Green Belt certification
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Manhattan and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
Working Conditions:
- Works in a combined office and warehouse/production-floor environment.
- Must be comfortable working on warehouse floors at times conducting verifications resolving discrepancies or handing out workload assignments
- May require occasional early morning late evening or weekend work especially during physical inventory counts audit or month-end/quarter-end shipping periods.
- Primarily desk-based planning work but includes periodic physical activity such as walking and bending to inspect inventory.
- Works in a fast-paced accuracy-driven environment where errors can affect shipping and production schedules customer satisfaction or financial results.
- Must quickly troubleshoot discrepancies data issues shipment delays and process bottlenecks as they arise. Investigating discrepancies and suggest implementing improvements to inventory control procedures
The hiring range for this position is $ 54300 - $75400 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
In addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
