Solution Engineer for Telefonica Job Overview:
F5 is looking for a Principal Solutions Engineer (SE) as a pre-sales technical role with focus on Telefonica Global Account which as part of EMEA sales organization. TheSEs primary responsibility is to support the sales team in charge of Telefonica Global and all Telefonica Subsidiaries (Spain UK Germany and Latam as per today) with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions to be effective an SE needs to have excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the eco-system that we work in. Fear not we do provide training and certification to keep abreast with these critical skills!
Thehigh-levelobjective is to achieve the allocated sales target and selling relevant F5 solutions and products to our customers business needs in partnership with the Sales Account Managers (s)perspective the SE is a trusted advisor who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges andis able topropose effective solutions to mitigate their concerns/offer gainful F5 SE not onlypresents the technical features but also business benefits in the Technical Value Proposition.

What youll do:
Articulate the F5productstrategymessaging and positioning F5svalue propositionand solutionsfor customer business objectives.
Providetechnical expertise through sales presentations solution designs solution demonstrationsproof of conceptsbyvarious mediums in-person/virtual presentations white boardsetc.
Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure of complex global accounts like Telefonica.
Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Managers team by identifying the Champions getting their technical validation support and sponsorship.
Consistently provide world-class customer servicethrough the customer life cycle.
Work collaboratively with internal technical and salesresources share best practices updatesofferand seekexpertise as the need arisesin various opportunities.
How youll do it:
By your knowledge and experience with Data Centers Virtualization and Cloud computing environments as well as AI Factory infrastructures;
Experience with Service Providers Mobile network architectures and protocols especially mobile network architectures and protocols defined by 3GPP (4G and 5G) with specific focus on Packe Core and Telco Cloud infrastructures
Knowledge on news generation network Data Center infrastructures (based on high speed connections IP routing BGP-EVPN etc.)
You will have worked with DevOps CI/CD as well ascontainer orchestration solutions (eg: Kubernetes Openshift etc).
Experience in the RFx processes
Knowledge of Network and Application Security
What youll bring:
8 years of related industry experience.
BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience as Solution Engineer working for Telefonica or as alternative for a global Telco Provider;
Familiarity/experience withF5 technology or similar industrysolution deploymentis a plus.
AI knowledge is a plus
Relevant certifications are a plus.
Fluent verbal and writing skills in English.
