Accounting Mgr

What you get to do in this role: 

• Work with team members spread across multiple offices and other partners(Finance Legal IT and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developmentsto ensure revenue recognition procedures comply
• Implement controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with ServiceNow revenue recognition accounting process including the bookings and billings process
• Complete required month-end close activities including revenue reconciliation and management reporting
• Support process improvementsand implementation of revenue reportingto further improve revenue tasks and shorten revenue closecycle
• Document reviews following ASC 606 accounting standards
• Provision and creation of training on revenue recognition rules and policies to partners (Sales Deal Desk Legal and Sales Ops)andanyother departments
• Perform contract analysis review to ensure subscription contracts have been accounted for

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
• 5 years of applicable Accounting Experience
• Experience with (US GAAP) software revenue recognitionunder ASC 606
• Software-as-a-Service(SaaS) revenue accounting experienceis a plus
• Self-starter with theability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Products especially Excel
• Prior SAP experience is a plus
