EIFER seeks a student assistant for support in the field of Energy Policy.
This position is based in Karlsruhe and is available to start on 01.06.2026 for a total of 6 months.
Monthly working hours are based on the candidates qualifications:
No degree: 40.1 hours per month
Bachelors degree: 37.9 hours per month
Masters degree: 28.5 hours per month
Salary: 610 per month

Assist in monitoring German energy policy.
Assist in data analysis.
Support the preparation of reports slides meetings.
Help with updating web-based tools.
Currently enrolled as a student at a university.
preferred study subjects: Economics Engineering Political Science.
Fluency in French and English (both C1 minimum).
Fluency in German (at least B1) is highly wished for.
Working knowledge of data manipulation environments (R/Stata/Python) is appreciated.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in energy research and sustainability.
