Retail Intern (4-Month Contract)

THE OPPORTUNITYWe have a four-month opportunity for a Retail Intern to join our award-winning firm in our Vancouver office. The contract will be from May to August/September with potential for an YOULL DOIn this role you will work in a highly successful fast-paced seven-person team with Christina Anthony. You excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven work while staying accurate and delivering excellent client service. You thrive in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities and you are committed to operational excellence by going above and beyond your day-to-day role requires the successful candidate to work onsite in the office five days per general administrative and processing supportSupport Investment Advisor Assistants and other team members with client communication and account documentationConduct security and market research and data-gatheringPrepare marketing materialsAdminister policies and procedures and adhere to department guidelinesEstablish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followedKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEPursuing post-secondary degree in Finance Accounting or Business12 years of customer service experienceKnowledge of financial services or investment industry is an assetStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasksStrong client services skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accuratelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsReliable team player who enjoys collaborating with othersIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365WHAT WE OFFERA culture of openness collaboration and respect is foundational to our firm.
