Job Summary
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services in our Approved Private School.
The Occupational Therapist will:
- Evaluate young children to identify developmental strengths and areas of need across daily routines and activities.
- Develop and implement IEP goals using play-based developmentally appropriate practices and monitor progress through data and professional judgment.
- Collaborate as an active member of the multidisciplinary team partnering with teachers related service providers and families to support each childs participation and growth.
- Provide therapy that supports engagement in classroom routines peer interactions and early learning experiences.
- Promote skill development in fine motor self-care sensory processing and other functional areas that support independence and school readiness.
- Deliver direct services consultation and coaching within natural environments in alignment with best practices and IEP requirements.
- This position follows a school-day calendar and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing inclusive early learning environment.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License required.
Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings preferred.
