Brake Press Operator 2nd Shift

Base pay rate is $18.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential

Shift Hours: 2:00PM 10:00PM hours may vary depending on operations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A Brake Press Operator is one of the key members of our production team. A Brake Press Operator conducts changeovers to different angles and sizes to ensure parts are folded in the correct angles. 

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Checking and visually inspecting produced parts against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been produced
• Installing dies during tooling change and adjusting to specifications
• Entering production quantities for each order into computer system
• Maintaining a safe clean and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed

Qualifications :

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work independently and with others
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read a tape measure and protracter 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to read hear talk drive lift trucks wear PPE and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
• Noise level is moderate to loud

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours 10 hours and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
