Allergist Physician NYC Health + Hospitals Elmhurst Hospital Center Queens, NY

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Allergist to join as faculty.

We are looking for a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban ethnically diverse underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City New Jersey and Long Island.

• Diagnose treat and manage a full spectrum of allergic conditions and immune disorders.
• Start with a built-in referral base and help grow the allergy service line.
• Strive to provide the highest level of quality patient-centered healthcare to our diverse population.

• MD/DO degree
• Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology
• Board certified in Otolaryngology
• Valid New York State License DEA and Medicaid number
• Strong interest in research and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement
• Strong clinical abilities teaching experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred

Compensation:
We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials experience and qualifications. Compensation starts at $250000 and will include faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. We offer comprehensive health benefits and generous PTO including vacation sick time and holidays.

Compensation range from 250K to 250K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
