Engineer II, Product Quality

• Assist in the execution of APQP practices within New Product Development; assisting and/or executing related deliverables such as FMEAs Product Assurance Planning CTQs and Control Plans

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and validate CTQ attributes

• Own documentation to support proper planning and execution of quality processes across assigned programs

• Coordinate quality planning and lead risk analysis and mitigation activities during NPD

• Partner with and provide input to other quality functional teams during product development

• Conduct supplier assessments for assigned components; analyze supplier capabilities

• Support development of DVP&R plans and test strategies with Design and Test Engineering

• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

• Protect Chamberlain Groups reputation by keeping information confidential.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reading professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in Product Quality

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications

• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of statistical tools

• Project management skills

• Ability to work in a matrix/cross-functional environment

• Proficient in APQP methodologies FMEAs and Control Plans

• Proficient in APQP methodologies FMEAs and Control Plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in APQP methodologies FMEAs and Control Plan

• Electromechanical and manufacturing operations experience

• Experience with global suppliers
