Position Summary
V-Tech SolutionsSeeking a Subject MatterExpert I to support injury surveillance through data analysis system development and reporting related to drug overdoses and firearm injuries.
Key Responsibilities :
Support design and management of injury surveillance systems
Build andmaintainanalytic datasets (cleaning merging coding)
Develop dashboards and reports (e.g. Tableau)
Perform statistical predictive and geospatial analyses
Improve data collection quality and monitoring processes
Provide epidemiological and statistical consultation
Conduct data linkage across datasets
Support study design analysis and publications
Ensure data quality andparticipatein QA/QI activities
Qualifications :
Education:
Degree in Public Health Epidemiology Statistics or related field (required)
PhD/DrPH preferred
Experience:
1 year of epidemiology or data analysis experience
Experience with study design and analytics
Skills :
SAS R STATA SPSS
Tableau or similar visualization tools
Epidemiological methods & statistical modeling
Geospatial and predictive analysis
Strong analytical and communication skills
Performance Expectations :
Maintain 5% data error rate
Delivertimelyaccuratereports
Support ongoing data monitoring and improvements
Work Environment :
Remote and/or onsite (Washington DC)
