PEDS TRAUMA/MRI/CT****** MINIMUM 2 WEEKENDS PER MONTH*** The adult diagnostic radiologists wRVUs average about 14000 per year. The adult diagnostic radiologists read an average of around 130-140 per weekday 150 180 on weekendsThey do a mix of MRI CT ultrasound and plain films. It will be a good mix of each heavier on the CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine cardiac or breast. We prefer a body imager. Diagnostic Radiologist to help with Saturday and Sunday as soon as we can get them locums and Sun shifts are 8am to 6pm ONSITE at Long Beach Med expectation is that they read everything that comes in during the shift and not leave any work for the next radiologist on be able to do at least two weekends a and Sun shifts are very busy/high volume; there is another rad on duty from 8am to 1pm; there could be some of the short shifts available to pick up too but the greatest need is the 10-hr shift Our radiology department at Long Beach services both Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children s and Women s Hospital which are both part of MemorialCare Health System. The two hospitals are next door to each other and are connected by some hallways. We do have full-time Pediatric Radiologists on the team but they work onsite day shifts M-F and are just on-call at night/weekends.
