The firm has consulting practices in healthcare property & casualty insurance life insurance and financial services and employee benefits. Founded in 1947 Milliman is an independent firm with offices in major cities around the globe.
This position is for Millimans office in Pakistan expected to be fully functional in 2024. The candidate would be expected to support consulting work done for client in the middle east / GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing projects to ensure efficient high quality delivery.
- Reserving for technical provisions.
- Pricing and underwriting review.
- Solvency review.
- Client communication.
- Support on other actuarial tasks.
- Production of IFRS 17 disclosures performing reviews and validation against IFRS 4.
- Reinsurance analysis and support.
- Other general consulting work.
- Any development work assigned from time to time.
Skills:
- Expertise in MS Office (excel and power point in particular).
- Fair knowledge of software such as SAS R etc..
- Experience of working for the GCC / Middle East market.
- Excellent interpersonal communication project management and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive initiatives and projects.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in actuarial science mathematics statistics or any other major with quantitative course work.
