Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Subject Matter Specialist (VMware) to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.
Tasks:
- Daily solution administration (management monitoring troubleshooting)
- Maintaining up-to-date solution documentation including technical documentation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) user manuals knowledge base articles etc.
- If applicable managing solutions through the complete service lifecycle
- Other specific duties as assigned by client ICT SCSMT team leader
Qualifications :
- At least 2 years (full-time) experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of the subject at the administration level
- Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Experience with Infrastructure automatization tools such as Terraform
- Experience with Infrastructure automatization tools such as VMware ARIA Automation
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere and cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Red Hat configuration and automatization
- Knowledge of IT security standards
- Very strong sense of responsibility
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Open-minded excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good organizational skills
- Very good communication skills
- Supportive and helpful personality with a cooperative and service-oriented attitude
