Senior Functional Analyst Payments

Arηs Group Part of Accenture is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst for one of its clients a key player in the banking domain.

Context

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join a high-impact Payments initiative within a large-scale international and innovation-driven environment.

The role supports a critical International Payments activity and is embedded in a squad-based delivery model operating in a distributed IT landscape.

This position is a replacement requiring a highly experienced and immediately operational Functional Analyst with proven Payments domain expertise. The focus is on analysing and securing business continuity for international payment flows working closely with development teams business stakeholders and international counterparts.

The environment values strong collaboration structured analysis and the ability to operate efficiently within complex evolving payment ecosystems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform functional analysis of business activities within the Payments domain.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams within the Payments/IP squad.
• Capture analyse and formalise business requirements related to international payments.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications suitable for implementation in a distributed (Java-based) environment.
• Act as a key interface between business development and testing teams.
• Support ongoing interactions with international teams including coordination with stakeholders.
• Contribute to functional documentation workshops and clarifications throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure continuity and knowledge transfer within the team as part of a replacement assignment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and be immediately operational
• Proactive structured and detail-oriented
• Comfortable in complex international and distributed environments
• French: mandatory (professional working proficiency)
• English: professional working proficiency

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior Functional Analyst
• Mandatory Payments domain expertise with a focus on International Payments
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Payments
• Experience in distributed systems environments
• Good understanding of Java-based architectures
• Experience working in squad / agile delivery models
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with international and remote teams
