Job Summary
As an Environmental Monitoring Specialist you will be performing Environmental Monitoring activities associated with clinical and/or commercial facilities utilities and water systems. Main responsibilities include:
- Perform GMP tasks associated with maintaining compliant manufacturing areas and operations
- Conduct sampling analyzing interpreting and trending of results
- Create review and approve documentation
- Work is performed in a clean room environment
This is on-site in Sanford NC
Qualifications :
- Minimum of a completed Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
- Prior experience with environmental monitoring and/or working in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting ideal (specifically with understanding of cGMP gLIMS MODA and MS Office Suite)
- Comfortability with working in a clean room environment as gowning/garbing is required in these areas
Ability to lift 30 lbs stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with weekend work as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Sanford NC are encouraged to apply. This site is not accessible by public transportation options; daily reliable transportation is needed to and from the site.
