Women's Health NurseInstructor No Previous Teaching Exp Required!

We are looking for a Registered Nurse Instructor to join our team! We have openings for Full-time part-time and per-diem.

No Previous Teaching Exp is required! 

You will:

• Teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and clinical settings focusing on obstetrics
• Collaborate with faculty to develop administer and grade course materials and examinations
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate records of attendance grades and clinical skills
• Participate in curriculum development quality improvement initiatives and program assessment
• Orient and mentor new faculty members in both theory and clinical instruction
• Utilize adult learning principles and integrate technology in teaching methods
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices technologies and safety regulations in obstetrics
• Participate in faculty meetings committee activities and student advising
• Ensure clinical assignments meet both student learning objectives and facility requirements
• Submit required reports and forms to the program director in a timely manner
• Maintain professional development and contribute to the nursing programs mission and goals

Qualifications :

• Hold a valid active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing
• Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing or education administration. OB Pediatrics or Psychiatry
• At least four years experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
• A year of Clinical experience within the last five years (Clinical teaching applies toward direct patient care). Clinically competent as defined in CCR Section 1420(c)
• Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing Psychiatric Geriatrics Med/Surg Pediatrics or OB-Gyn
