Job Summary
Master/Production Scheduler (Manufacturing) Onsite 4-Day Work Week
Seeking a highly driven Master Scheduler to take full ownership of production scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a critical role responsible for coordinating all production activity optimizing workflow and ensuring on-time delivery across a high-mix operation.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy constantly changing environment and enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges with minimal oversight.
What Youll Do
- Own and manage the master production schedule across all departments
- Develop daily and weekly schedules including detailed plan of the day execution
- Prioritize jobs based on due dates material availability and shop capacity
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules in real time to address delays and bottlenecks
- Partner with purchasing production engineering and sales to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Track backlog overdue orders and capacity to maintain on-time delivery
- Anticipate risks and proactively resolve issues impacting production flow
- Maintain accurate data within the ERP system and serve as the go-to resource for scheduling visibility
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes and production flow
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of experience in production scheduling planning or manufacturing operations
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision making
- Experience working within an ERP system (any platform)
- Ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Highly proactive self-directed and comfortable operating with minimal structure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments
Work Environment & Schedule
- Onsite role (Little Falls MN area)
- 4-day work week: MondayThursday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Overtime available (Fridays/Saturdays optional)
