Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a healthcare team in Camden ME. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and supporting nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming feeding and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration
- Provide basic patient care including repositioning toileting and feeding assistance
- Support patient mobility transfers and range-of-motion exercises
- Maintain a clean safe and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Assist with procedures and specimen collection as directed
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide emotional support and basic education to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Active state-approved CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate patient-focused and team-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
