VOA Oklahoma is currently seeking a Workforce Development Manager to join our team in Tulsa Oklahoma! What You Will Do

As the Workforce Development Manager you will be an integral part of our team and will be primarily responsible for client-centered career coaching and employment navigation services. The Workforce Development Manager works closely with referral sources employers and community partners to ensure participants receive comprehensive support tailored to individualized goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized career assessments to identify participants skills barriers and employment readiness.
• Develop and monitor Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with participants to establish measurable employment goals and steps toward self-sufficiency.
• Assist with job search resume development interview preparation and ongoing employment coaching.
• Connect participants with supportive servicesneeded to sustain employment.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers workforce development agencies educational and training providers and community organizations to expand employment and training opportunities for participants.
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with program partners case managers and referral agencies to ensure participants receive comprehensive wraparound support and access to needed resources.
• Coordinate services and share information with internal program staff case managers and external referral partners to ensure comprehensive participant support.
• Represent the organization at community outreach events job fairs and workshops to promote employment services and engage new participants.

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in workforce development case management or related field.
• Strong communication organizational and motivational interviewing skills.
• Strong public presence and ability to communicate clearly professionally and personably with employers and community partners.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational record-keeping and timely reporting skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and case management software.
• Must be 18 years of age or older possess a valid drivers license have reliable transportation and meet background check requirements.
