| Job Description: | This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive thoracic imaging services within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs a comprehensive childrens hospital and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center at a public university in Florida. This role provides an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality patient-centered radiology in a collaborative academic setting with flexible scheduling and strong institutional support for teaching research and professional development. Faculty work closely with a robust residency program and benefit from an outstanding referral base. Key Responsibilities- Interpret a broad range of thoracic imaging studies including chest radiography CT and MRI across outpatient inpatient and emergency settings
- Provide subspecialty consultation and collaborate with pulmonology thoracic surgery oncology and lung transplant services in multidisciplinary conferences
- Participate in lung cancer screening programs and support imaging evaluation of pulmonary nodules and thoracic malignancies
- Teach and mentor radiology residents fellows and medical students through case readouts conferences and formal educational activities
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage ensuring timely interpretation of emergency studies
- Engage in scholarly and academic activities
