Your Role as a Housekeeper:

• Maintain a clean sanitary and safe environment for residents staff and visitors
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms bathrooms and common areas including hallways dining rooms and recreational spaces
  
• Sweep mop vacuum dust and perform carpet cleaning as needed
  
• Clean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture countertops sinks toilets and showers
• Clean walls windows mirrors vents elevators and stairways as needed
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies
  
• Restock housekeeping and sanitation supplies throughout the facility
• Assist with laundry services including washing drying folding and restocking linens and clothing
  
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to leadership
  
• Support residents during mealtimes by assisting with trays and observing/reporting concerns
  
• Follow all infection control safety and HIPAA guidelines
  
• Maintain a calm respectful and caring environment for residents and team members
• Participate in required trainings in-services and team meetings

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum of 10th grade education required
  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
  
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred especially in a healthcare setting
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  
• Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with residents families and staff
  
• Physically able to stand walk bend lift (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to read write and speak English
