Position: Registered Nurse - Acute
Location: Kamloops BC
Job Type: Contract
Hours: 12 hour shifts days and nights
Dates: ASAP to September 7 2026
Inclusions: Travel (round trip flight or $0.61/km for mileage) private accommodations (daily reimbursement to choose your own place)
Duties:
Provides nursing care to patients both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults confers and collaborates with other health care providers
Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
Maintains and advances own clinical competence
Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Active RN Licensed with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Basic Life Support Certification
- 2 years in a high acuity environment
- Experience supporting Neuro Trauma or Stroke patients
