Job Summary
VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Dallas Texas. As a Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software systems that support our pediatric healthcare services. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement software solutions to meet business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop specifications
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Test and deploy software updates and enhancements
- Ensure software meets quality standards and follows best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Assist with training and mentoring junior developers
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java C or Python
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Familiarity with front-end development using HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with healthcare software systems is a plus
