Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Las Cruces NM. In this role you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The ideal candidate is patient-focused detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs performing wound care and assisting with daily living activities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and medical procedures
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans medications and preventive care
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards safety protocols and healthcare regulations
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or Compact License (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (Required)
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation
• Strong communication organizational and teamwork skills
