Job Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE

A well-regarded New York litigation boutique known for high-stakes commercial disputes is seeking a mid-level associate. Associates are given genuine responsibility from day one working directly with partners on complex business disputes contract claims fraud actions and employment-related matters across state and federal courts. If you want courtroom time and real client relationships not document review this is your firm.


WHAT YOULL DO

  • Handle commercial litigation from initial pleadings through trial and post-judgment enforcement
  • Conduct and defend depositions; manage discovery including e-discovery workflows
  • Draft and argue dispositive and pre-trial motions in New York Supreme Court and federal court
  • Communicate directly with clients and manage aspects of client relationships
  • Support business development and client pitches alongside senior attorneys


WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York Bar
  • 3 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm
  • Employment or labor dispute experience is a plus
  • Excellent research writing and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a demanding caseload
