ABOUT THE ROLE
One of Philadelphias preeminent regional defense firms is seeking an associate for its Casualty Litigation Department. WHAT YOULL DO
- Handle general liability and casualty defense matters from intake through trial in PA state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings written discovery responses and dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions of clients witnesses and expert witnesses
- Appear at court hearings oral argument and arbitrations on behalf of carrier clients
- Provide strategic recommendations and coverage analysis to insurance clients
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; strong academic record
- 3 years of litigation experience preferably in liability defense
- PA Bar admission required; NJ admission is a strong plus
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Judicial clerkship experience a plus
