Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS
The knowledge skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:
Bachelors degree in a discipline related to programming behavioral health social services public administration human services or other occupationally related fields
Licensure in a behavioral health field or the ability and commitment to become licensed within 3 years of hire.
3 years of experience in program administration or program management
3 years of experience supervising professional staff.
Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Programming Services Bureau Chief plays a key leadership role shaping statewide programming treatment and case management services. This position offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change improve outcomes and lead innovative strategies across all state and contracted correctional facilities.
As Bureau Chief you will set the vision and direction for programs that support rehabilitation reentry and public safety. Youll collaborate with agency leaders community partners and policymakers to ensure high-quality consistent services that meet regulatory standards and advance DOC priorities.
- Lead and oversee statewide programming treatment and case management operations
- Drive strategy set goals and measure outcomes to improve system-wide performance
- Ensure quality compliance and consistency across all facilities
- Partner with state agencies providers and stakeholders to enhance services
- Represent DOC with legislators leadership and the public
- Oversee program policies budgets and performance metrics
- Lead mentor and develop a team of professionals
- Manage contracts and expand partnerships for critical services
