THE ROLE
We are seeking an Investigations Legal Counsel for a Fortune 500 software company in Switzerland. The successful candidate will conduct interviews perform legal and factual research and independently manage smaller low-risk investigations. The role will also involve supporting senior team members on more complex and sensitive cases while working closely with internal stakeholders across EMEA and maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct interviews in relation to workplace investigations and prepare clear detailed interview notes
- Perform legal and factual research relating to workplace matters across the EMEA region
- Independently manage smaller low-risk investigations from intake through to conclusion
- Support senior team members on complex sensitive or higher-risk investigations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across EMEA including legal HR compliance and business teams
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive matters
- Assist with the preparation organisation and documentation of investigation files and related materials
YOUR PROFILE- Qualified lawyer with 2 - 4 years of professional experience
- Experience or exposure to workplace investigations internal investigations employment law compliance or related matters preferred
- Strong analytical research interviewing and note-taking skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at different levels
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
- Able to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with senior legal and investigations team members
- Fluent in English both written and verbal; German French or Italian language skills are considered an advantage
- Based in Switzerland and available to work full-time remotely for the duration of the engagement
